Great video although I would have put Frederique Constant higher on the list and would have named Eterna somewhere on the list.

Would Japanese movements like those in Grand Seiko and Citizen Grand Classic be able to compete with these Swiss brands at all?

Great list, Charles. I have been lusting for that Alpina bi-compax chrono for a while. Keep up the great videos.

Some right dogs there with pretty ropey credentials. I thought Raymond Weil or Maurice Lacroix would have been on that list as entry level luxury. Victorinox? I'd replace that even with Certina.

1:57 I think you should exclude Tissot on moral grounds. They use Danica Patrick as a Brand Ambassador when they know full well that it is only a matter of time before she is killed in a horrible fiery wreck on the Racetrack. It is a despicable pursuit of the Almighty Dollar in exchange for a beautiful life that should be spent at my Chess Club where she will be safe and sound.

I am sorry, but Rolex Submariners and Explorer II is an entry level luxury watch. You can sell them a few later with a 20% margin. It's much better to go with a watch that costs a little bit more than $2000, but has great retail value. You ll always get your money back. Rolex isn't the best brand in the watch game, but certainly the most famous one.

I think Sinn is beyond just entry level luxury. Price value, resale, styling, movement, exclusivity, are all top notch. Listen I'll take this over a Rolex any day. And likely not get a fake or get killed in the streets of NY, and LA. Over the next decade I expect Sinn to be a well known name in the industry and even more highly sought after. They will take off to the next level quickly. Great list….

Was expecting something creative, with commentary on why each watch was on this list, and instead it's just a compilation of boring commercials. Useless crap.
