The real keep to bigger biceps is consistently training them, eating enough calories to grow and resting enough as well. So let’s talk about this technique for bigger biceps.
With eccentric training you get a greater amount of muscle activation on your biceps. The trick is knowing how to do them and how often to do them. Too much eccentric training can lead to muscle fatigue and the opposite of what we want.
I recommend not doing more than 2 sets of each form of eccentric training and once a week, twice a week maximum for advance lifters.
So 2 sets x 8-12 reps of standard eccentric training
2 sets x 8-12 reps of supramaximal eccentric training
Use your standard recovery time of 45-75 seconds
